Booking from the Outside Bodies (under PRLs)

Who are eligible for classified as Outside Bodies?

Eligible “Outside Bodies” fall under five categories:

1. Schools registered under the Education Ordinance (Cap.279);
2. Non-Governmental Organizations receiving subvention from the Social Welfare Department;
3. Uniformed groups and youth organizations receiving subvention from the Home Affairs Bureau; and ;
4. “National sports associations” recognized by the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China and relevant International Federations;
5. Government departments.

Important notes for application of the Use of Facilities by Outside Bodies

1. “Facility Booking Application Form for Eligible Outside Bodies” with detailed booking procedures could be downloaded from “Forms Download”. The applications will be processed on a first-come-first served basis. Applicants must submit the completed application form and return by email, fax or in person to KPCC.
2. Bookings from YMCA members or Non-members shall be made at least one but no more than three calendar months in advanced from the date of use.
3. Priority booking is reserved to schools, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), government departments, youth and uniformed groups and "national sports associations" (NSAs). Bookings shall be made at least three but no more than six calendar months in advanced from the date of use.
4. Bookings for sports training/competitions from NSAs shall be made at least six but no more than twelve calendar months in advanced from the date of use.
5. Bookings for international events by NSAs shall be made at least twelve but no more than eighteen calendar months in advanced from the date of use.
6. Applicants will be informed of their application results within 7 days upon receipt of the completed application form.
7. Payment can be made by cheque, credit card or cash.
8. Schools, non-governmental organizations, youth and uniformed groups and national sports associations are eligible for a concessionary. Other outside bodies apart from five categories of outside bodies are charged with a “Non-Member” fee.
9. For group use of the climbing wall, the user must be accompanied by instructors provided by our Center.
10. Applicants shall observe KPCC’s Centre User Guidelines which governs the use of facilities.
