- To provide various activities such as making arts and crafts, singing songs and playing games

My Hundred Words (Ages 2.5-3 & one parent)
Instruction: English
- To explore and develop English vocabulary
- To show objects and flashcards, playing games and singing songs
- To learn with parents' involvement by making a ''My Hundred Words Book''
English Talktown (Ages 3-6)
Instruction: English
- To encourage children's verbal expression in English
- To teach children with thematic activities related to their daily lives
- To incorporate role playing, storytelling, singing songs, vocabulary and phrase base in the programme
Enchanting School (Ages 3-6)
Instruction: English
- To build up children's confidence in communication
- To enhance children's ability and interest to express themselves
- To incorporate storytelling, playing games and different creative activities in the programme
Vocabulary Treasure (Ages 4-6)
Instruction: English
- To help children building their own themed vocabulary
- To teach children with stories, flashcards, games, etc.
Story Adventure (Ages 4-6)
Instruction: English
- To develop children's interest in reading
- To use an exciting teaching kit called “Storysack”
- To encourage children's interactive participation by games, puppets, songs, books, flashcards
Jolly Phonics (Ages 4-6)
Instruction: English
- Saturday classes are parent-child classes, one parent/guardian is required to be in attendance
- 4 levels in total
- 5 basic skills:
- Learning the letter sounds
- Letter formation
- Blending
- Identifying the sounds in words
- Tricky words (irregular words)
Remarks:
- If your child stops for 2 consecutive quarters, an assessment ($80 non- refundable fee) needs to be arranged before re-enrolment
- Phonics assessment fee is $80 (non-refundable). It is for children who have learned Phonics outside of the YMCA and wish to enrol in our Jolly Phonics Level 2 to 4 programmes

Jolly Grammar (Ages 5-8)
Instruction: English
- 4 levels in total
- Jolly Phonics Level 4 evaluation report is required
Remarks:
- If your child stops for 2 consecutive quarters, an assessment ($80 non-refundable fee) needs to be arranged before re-enrolment
- For students who have phonics foundation outside of the YMCA, an assessment can be arranged for enrolment to our Jolly Grammar Level 1 ($80 non-refundable assessment fee)

Comprehensive Phonics (Ages 6-7)
Instruction: English
- 2 levels in total (Comprehensive Phonics Elementary Level & Comprehensive Phonics Supplementary Level)
- To reinforce children's phonemic awareness
- To build up children's confidence with sound-symbol relations, word identification, spelling and writing connections, related reading practice and fluency
Remarks:
- YMCA Jolly Phonics Level 4 graduates can enrol into Jolly Grammar Level 1 directly
- If your child stops for 2 consecutive quarters, an assessment ($80 non-refundable fee) needs to be arranged before re-enrolment

Cambridge English: Young Learners (YLE) (Ages 5-12)
Instruction: English
- 3 levels in total (Starters, Movers & Flyers)
- 24 lessons in total for each level, 1.5 hours per lesson
- Reliable and consistent measure of children's skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing
- Preparation for the Cambridge examination with fun learning

Cambridge English: General English –Key English Test for school (KETfS) (Ages 10-13)
Instruction: EnglishRemarks:
- 24 lessons in total, 1.5 hours per lesson
- Internationally accepted certificate
- Examination content targeted at the interests and experiences of school children

English Foundation Builders (Ages 6-8)(P.1-P.2)
Instruction: English
- A year-round English enhancement programme
- Programme covers all areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing
- Aims at improving students' English fluency, confidence to speak up and competency in writing
Be A Creative Writer (Ages 8-12)(P.3-P.6)
Instruction: English
- A year-round English writing programme
- Aims at guiding students to think outside the box and convey their ideas into passages
